Werwulf - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features the score composed by Robin Carolan for Robert Eggers' 2026 medieval horror film, released on an exclusive Silver 2LP vinyl edition from Waxwork Records in partnership with Sacred Bones Records.

Continuing his collaboration with Eggers, Carolan draws inspiration from the sounds, rituals and superstitions of medieval England, creating a dark and unsettling score that combines traditional instrumentation with experimental sound design.

Hurdy-gurdies, cymbalum and other historical instruments are transformed through unconventional playing techniques and electronic manipulation. Farming tools, including axes, cleavers and scythes, provide unusual percussion, while bells and clay jugs produce haunting drones and atmospheric textures.

These sounds are combined with expansive orchestration and choral arrangements, creating a soundtrack that moves between earthy folk influences, ritualistic rhythms and disturbing experimental passages.

The album also features Ethel Cain performing the original song "Wynter Waxeth" in Middle English. Developed in collaboration with Carolan and Eggers, the song incorporates medieval musical influences and haunting vocal arrangements that complement the film's historical setting.

This limited edition is pressed on Silver double vinyl, exclusive to independent record stores.
