Trivium - Crown In The Grave 2LP (Goldenrod) Vinyl

Featuring vocalist and guitarist Matthew K. Heafy, guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto and drummer Alex Rüdinger, the album represents a new chapter for the band. Rather than abandoning their musical identity, Trivium have focused on refining their songwriting and exploring new approaches to the elements that have shaped their previous releases.

For the first time, the band developed and recorded an album at their own creative headquarters, The Hangar, in Orlando, Florida. The dedicated studio environment allowed the musicians to work closely together throughout the creative process, developing material with an emphasis on memorable riffs, strong melodies and cohesive arrangements.

Crown In The Grave also marks the studio introduction of drummer Alex Rüdinger, whose association with Trivium dates back to 2015. His arrival brought an additional creative influence to the recording sessions, contributing not only his technical drumming abilities but also ideas during the songwriting process.

The album reunites Trivium with longtime producer Josh Wilbur, known for his work with Lamb of God and Korn, while Jacob Hansen, whose credits include Volbeat and Amon Amarth, handles mixing duties for the first time with the band.

Across twelve tracks, Crown In The Grave brings together the technical precision, aggressive intensity and melodic songwriting that have established Trivium as one of modern metal's most enduring acts. The result is an album that draws upon their extensive musical history while introducing a renewed creative direction.

This edition is pressed across two Goldenrod Yellow vinyl records.
