Dragon’s Domain Records presents THE HILLS HAVE EYES Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, featuring music composed by Don Peake for Wes Craven’s infamous 1977 cult horror classic.

Released in 1977, The Hills Have Eyes follows the Carter family as they become stranded in the Nevada desert after taking a shortcut through a nuclear testing site, only to discover they are being hunted by a violent family of mutants living in the hills.

Composer Don Peake crafted a tense and unsettling score that blends eerie atmosphere, abrasive percussion, experimental electronics, and dissonant textures to capture the film’s relentless sense of dread and isolation.

Before composing for film and television, Peake worked as a guitarist and arranger with legendary artists including The Righteous Brothers, Ike & Tina Turner, Ray Charles, and members of the famed Wrecking Crew. His later soundtrack work included Breakin’, Knight Rider, and several collaborations with Wes Craven.

Originally released in limited quantities by Hitchcock Records, this edition from Dragon’s Domain Records features the soundtrack newly remastered by James Nelson at Digital Outland.
