The Grateful Dead Movie, directed and edited by Jerry Garcia and Leon Gast, is a documentary concert film capturing the band during their historic 1974 Winterland run in San Francisco. These shows marked the end of the band’s first era and showcase them at their mid-70s peak.

The Grateful Dead Movie Soundtrack documents the final performances featuring the legendary “Wall of Sound” system and the return of drummer Mickey Hart, making it one of the most important recordings in the band’s history.
