Performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, the score blends triumphant heroism with darker, more mysterious themes as the conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire reaches its climax. Highlights include the playful Parade Of The Ewoks, the atmospheric Lapti Nek, the emotional Luke And Leia, and the powerful closing piece Ewok Celebration And Finale.
This Japanese vinyl reissue recreates the original Japanese jacket design and includes the distinctive obi strip. Pressed on light green vinyl, the release uses the original 1983 soundtrack recordings remastered by Shawn Murphy and Skywalker Sound from the high-resolution 192kHz / 24-bit masters released in 2018.
Due to the use of the original theatrical poster artwork for the sleeve, the Japanese title on the jacket differs from the modern official Japanese title.
