Sydney psychedelic heavyweights Robot God return in 2026 with Curse of the Driven, their second full-length album of the year. Building on the band's trademark combination of heavy riffs, psychedelic exploration and groove-driven jams, the record ventures into darker and more expansive territory.

Following the release of Onto the Afterlife earlier in the year, Robot God waste no time moving forward. Recorded at The Grove Studios, its predecessor delivered crushing stoner grooves, hypnotic psychedelic textures and fuzz-heavy dynamics while exploring themes of mortality, transformation and the unknown.

Curse of the Driven takes that momentum in a new direction. The riffs remain suitably heavy, but the band delves further into its experimental side, moving between driving hard rock, spaced-out passages, powerful grooves and extended instrumental sections that have become a defining feature of their live performances.

Rather than repeating what came before, the album represents a natural progression of Robot God's sound. Three musicians bring their individual styles together, allowing the songs to develop organically while keeping the riffs and grooves firmly at the centre.

From its opening notes to its final jam, Curse of the Driven delivers an immersive journey through fuzz, rhythm and psychedelic heaviness.

This Broken Compass Edition is pressed on heavy black liquid vinyl with gold glitter, specially mastered for vinyl playback and presented in a gatefold sleeve. Pressed in Germany by Pallas Group, this edition is strictly limited to just 50 copies.
