Practical Magic - Music From The  Motion Picture makes its vinyl debut with a special edition of the much-loved soundtrack to the 1998 supernatural romantic comedy, featuring music from Stevie Nicks, Marvin Gaye, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Elvis Presley and more.

Starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman and directed by Griffin Dunne, Practical Magic follows sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, two women born into a family of witches whose romantic lives are complicated by an ancient family curse. Blending romance, dark humour, sisterhood and supernatural mystery, the film has become a cult favourite, particularly among audiences who return to its enchanting atmosphere every autumn.

Its eclectic soundtrack plays an important role in establishing the film's distinctive character, bringing together classic rock, folk, soul, pop and atmospheric orchestral music. The result is a collection that captures both the warmth and the darker, more mysterious qualities of the Owens sisters' world.

Stevie Nicks provides two of the soundtrack's defining moments with "If You Ever Did Believe" and her interpretation of "Crystal", while Faith Hill contributes the country-pop hit "This Kiss". Elsewhere, the collection moves between the soulful grooves of Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up", the haunting folk of Nick Drake's "Black Eyed Dog" and the intimate songwriting of Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You".

Further highlights include Elvis Presley's "Always On My Mind", Harry Nilsson's unmistakable "Coconut" and two orchestral pieces performed by The Michael Nyman Orchestra, "Convening The Coven" and "Maria Owens", which bring the album to an atmospheric conclusion.

Available on vinyl for the first time, this edition is pressed on 140g "Midnight Margarita" Splatter vinyl, offering a distinctive physical presentation of a soundtrack that has remained a favourite among fans of the film.
