In the late 1980s, Nirvana emerged from the Seattle grunge scene, releasing their debut album Bleach on Sub Pop in 1989 and developing the raw, dynamic sound that would soon redefine alternative music.

During the Bleach tour, the band expanded beyond the US for the first time, embarking on a run of shows across Europe. One of the standout performances took place at U4 in Vienna on 22nd November 1989 - a ferocious live set capturing Nirvana at their most unfiltered.

Originally recorded for FM radio broadcast and long circulating among collectors as "Out Of The Blue", this recording is now presented in full on vinyl for the first time.
