Gumboot Soup is the thirteenth studio album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Released on 31 December 2017, the album marks the fifth and final release in the band’s prolific run of records that year. Drawing together songs that didn’t fit the concepts of the previous four albums, Gumboot Soup leans into a more direct, song-oriented approach while still showcasing the band’s eclectic style.

The artwork was created by longtime collaborator Jason Galea, continuing the visual identity that has become synonymous with the band’s releases.

Several tracks were released ahead of the album, including "All Is Known", "Beginner's Luck", "Greenhouse Heat Death", and "The Last Oasis", offering a preview of the album’s diverse sound.
