The ReconstruKction Of Light presents a fully reworked version of King Crimson’s 2000 album The ConstruKction Of Light, newly remixed and rebuilt with completely re-recorded drum parts by Pat Mastelotto.

Originally recorded by the band’s groundbreaking “Double Duo” lineup - Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Trey Gunn, and Pat Mastelotto - the album marked a bold new phase in King Crimson’s evolution, blending intricate progressive rock compositions with electronic textures and complex rhythmic structures.

For this edition, Mastelotto replaced the original electronic drum performances with newly recorded acoustic drum tracks, allowing the music to be presented with greater power and clarity. The result is The ReconstruKction Of Light, a dramatically improved version of the album and the form in which Robert Fripp considers the material to be fully realised.

This expanded vinyl release also includes additional material drawn from the Live ConstruKction recordings, making it the most complete presentation of this era of King Crimson. It also marks the first time the album has been available on vinyl.
