Impey returns with his debut EP Midnight In Little Havana, released via the critically acclaimed Astral Black imprint.
Following his BangClap single, the young UK producer has built serious momentum, with work featured in Converse campaigns, a residency on NTS, and support from artists including Skepta, Trim and Capo Lee. His productions have also been championed across sets by Slimzee, Kahn & Neek, Murlo and Plastician.
Midnight In Little Havana showcases Impey’s versatility across five tracks, blending elements of grime, Jersey club and cinematic, Vangelis-inspired synth work. Balancing club-ready energy with more atmospheric moments, the EP moves effortlessly between dancefloor pressure and late-night introspection.
Highlights include long-time DJ favourite "Bleepz", finally receiving an official release, alongside high-energy cuts "Pep Talk" and "The Pong Song", and more intricate compositions on the title track and Inner.
The release is housed in a full colour sleeve featuring artwork by Astral Black in-house designer Oscar Whale, depicting Miami’s Little Havana with the same level of detail found in the music itself.
