Emerson, Lake and Powell was a short-lived but powerful collaboration between keyboard virtuoso Keith Emerson, vocalist and bassist Greg Lake, and legendary drummer Cozy Powell.

The project emerged in the mid-1980s when plans to reunite Emerson, Lake & Palmer were disrupted by the unavailability of drummer Carl Palmer. Emerson and Lake instead joined forces with Cozy Powell, whose powerful style had already earned him acclaim with bands including Rainbow and Whitesnake.

This comprehensive collection gathers the band’s only studio album Emerson, Lake and Powell, alongside rehearsal recordings from The Sprocket Sessions and the live release Live in Concert. The recordings have been remastered by Andy Pearce and the set includes an enhanced booklet featuring detailed sleeve notes by Jerry Ewing.
