This release from progressive heavy rock band Elder features the expansive track Liminality / Dream State Return, recorded during a spontaneous session while the band were in Berlin working on material for their upcoming studio album.

What began as a jam on an older idea quickly evolved into a fully realised composition, resulting in an 18-minute piece that bridges different eras of the band’s sound. The track combines the melodic and riff-driven approach heard on Omens with the atmospheric and progressive textures of Innate Passage, while hinting at the direction of Elder’s forthcoming releases.
