This is the first-ever LP release of the soundtrack to the cult animated television series The Tick, which aired for three seasons on Fox from 1994–1996.

Doug Katsaros wrote the iconic opening theme and composed the score for every episode.

A typical episode saw The Tick battling a villain until Arthur devised a solution that saved the day, after which The Tick would deliver an absurd moral loosely connected to the preceding chaos.

Although originally aimed at younger viewers, the show’s dry, absurd humour and sharp parody quickly attracted a devoted adult audience.
