Events Score is the debut solo album from composer and musician Daniel Davies, best known for his collaborations with horror filmmaker and composer John Carpenter on the Lost Themes and Anthology albums.
Built around vintage synthesizers and atmospheric electronic textures, the album presents a cinematic collection of instrumental pieces inspired by imagined science fiction worlds. The music evokes vast landscapes, distant planets and deep oceans, creating the feeling of a soundtrack to a film that exists only in the listener’s imagination.
Written after Davies began developing ideas for a science-fiction film, Events Score became a musical exploration of those concepts instead. The album includes eight tracks, highlighted by the haunting synth-driven composition "Shadows Alive".
