Hammer Smashed Face is the first EP from Florida death metal legends Cannibal Corpse, originally released in 1993 via Metal Blade Records.

The release is anchored by the band’s iconic title track "Hammer Smashed Face", a staple of their live shows and famously featured in the 1994 film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

Fronted by the unmistakable growl of original vocalist Chris Barnes, the EP delivers the band’s trademark blend of crushing riffs, relentless drumming and unrelenting brutality.

Alongside the title track, the release includes powerful covers of songs by Black Sabbath and Possessed, further highlighting the influences behind Cannibal Corpse’s ferocious sound.
