Brain Damage - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack features the original score by Gus Russo and Clutch Reiser from Frank Henenlotter's cult 1988 horror film, presented on limited edition cassette.

Written and directed by Frank Henenlotter, Brain Damage follows Brian, a young man who forms a disturbing relationship with Aylmer, a bizarre parasitic creature capable of injecting a highly addictive hallucinogenic substance directly into his brain. In return for the euphoric experiences Aylmer provides, Brian must help feed his new companion's increasingly gruesome appetite.

Mixing body horror, black comedy and surreal psychedelic imagery, Brain Damage became one of Henenlotter's defining films and a cult favourite of late-'80s independent horror. Its strange New York atmosphere, grotesque practical effects and unforgettable central creature give the film an identity entirely its own.

The original score by Gus Russo and Clutch Reiser provides the perfect accompaniment to the film's increasingly warped journey, moving between ominous electronic textures, unsettling cues and surreal musical passages as Brian falls further under Aylmer's influence. From the opening "African Masks" theme through to the saxophone-led end credits, the soundtrack captures the strange, hallucinatory atmosphere of Henenlotter's psychedelic horror nightmare.

This limited cassette edition is presented on a yellow shell cassette and is limited to just 100 copies.
