Black Sabbath made a powerful comeback in 1980 and 1981 with Ronnie James Dio joining as lead vocalist, resulting in the platinum albums Heaven And Hell and Mob Rules.

During the 1982 Mob Rules U.S. tour, the band recorded a series of shows that would become their first official live album, Live Evil.

These recordings capture the ferocious chemistry of this era, featuring standout performances of "Neon Knights", "The Sign Of The Southern Cross", "Voodoo", and "Children Of The Sea", alongside Dio-led versions of classic tracks including "Paranoid", "War Pigs", "Iron Man", and "N.I.B".

Originally hailed by Kerrang! as one of the greatest live albums of all time, the band were never fully satisfied with the original mix.

This 40th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition features a brand new remix by Wyn Davis alongside the original album, newly remastered in 2022 by Andy Pearce.

The set also includes a 40-page hardback book with a newly commissioned essay, plus replica memorabilia from the 1982 tour.
