Heaven and Hell marked a powerful new chapter for Black Sabbath when it was released in 1980, introducing Ronnie James Dio as the band’s new vocalist.
After the departure of Ozzy Osbourne, the band returned revitalised with one of the strongest albums of their career. Featuring thunderous riffs from Tony Iommi, soaring vocals from Ronnie James Dio, and a darker, more epic songwriting approach, the record produced classic tracks including “Neon Knights”, “Children of the Sea”, “Die Young”, and the monumental title track “Heaven and Hell.”
Widely regarded as one of the greatest heavy metal albums ever recorded, the album achieved platinum status and remains a defining moment in the band’s legendary catalogue.
This expanded Double LP edition includes the remastered album alongside a collection of rare edits, B-sides, and live recordings from 1980.
