Antropofagus play complex, technical and brutal death metal, emerging in the late 1990s with clear influences from bands such as Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse and Deeds of Flesh.

Prior to the release of Origin, the band’s discography included No Waste of Flesh (1999), Architecture of Lust (2012) and M.O.R.T.E. (2017), marking a relatively sparse but focused output across their long history.

The current lineup features guitarist and co-founder Francesco "Meatgrinder" Montesanti alongside drummer Davide Billia, bassist Jacopo Rossi and vocalist Paolo Chiti.

With Origin, Antropofagus deliver a unified and relentless release - fast, uncompromising and rooted firmly in classic death metal while pushing forward with a modern, technical edge.
