Waxwork Records presents the original motion picture score to King Kong Escapes (1967), composed by legendary kaiju maestro Akira Ifukube (Godzilla, Mothra vs. Godzilla, War of the Gargantuas).
Directed by Ishirō Honda, King Kong Escapes follows the villainous Dr. Hu as he attempts to control Kong and harness the power of radioactive Element X. The film stars Rhodes Reason, Linda Miller, Mie Hama, and Akira Takarada.
This deluxe release marks the first time the complete original score has been officially available on vinyl outside of Japan, showcasing Ifukube’s dynamic orchestral work from moments of calm to full-scale monster battles.
Presented by Waxwork Records with deluxe packaging, this edition features new artwork by Ross Murray and is pressed on 180g “Element X” Radioactive Green coloured vinyl.
